Last minute heartbreak

Berwick went down to a last minute goal at Gayfield today. Not a great game, played in the fog, with Gary Wood seeing red for a high challenge with his foot. Berwick also played Stephen Manson as a trialist following his release from Raith Rovers. Photos below.

Three more points

It was nice to return to Shielfield today after a few months of not making it to home games. The weather was superb, great light for the camera - so, I present, today's match in pictures.

above: Recent signing Iain Diack scored his third goal in four starts for Berwick against his former employers. It was our first attack.

above: Gary O'Connor had to make some important saves throughout the match to keep Stenny out.

A number of ex-Berwick boys were in action of course.

above: Ian Thomson returned to the side and got the second goal around the hour mark. He capitalised on a mistake from a Stenny player and raced 40-50 yards to score.

above: David Greenhill received two yellow cards in the second half and was sent off.

above: Stenny hit back though and had more attempts in the second half before getting one goal back late on.
